Perceptions about mental health - and mental illness - are changing. Finally, people are realizing that many mental disorders are rooted in physical causes. People shouldn't be afraid to seek medical help for problems like depression, anxiety, or other mental illness.

Woodland Hills provides a supportive, caring environment, as well as both medical and psychiatric treatment to help restore you or your loved one to healthy living. A highly trained team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other health professionals work together to create a personalized program for each patient. Special care is taken to respect and maintain each patient's dignity.
Services include:
• Safe and supportive environment
• Medical consultation
• 24-hour skilled nursing care
• Individual, group, and family therapy
• Recreational therapy
• Physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy consultation, as needed
• Neurological evaluation, if needed
• Psychological testing, as required
• Dietary consultation
Assessment and Treatment
Upon admission, each patient receives a complete psychiatric and medical evaluation. Members of the treatment team meet with the patient, family, referral source, and community resources to provide a comprehensive and individualized plan of care for each patient. Treatment plans address life skills, medication needs, recreational therapies, and after care issues that may affect the patient's adjustment on discharge.
